Austrocylindropuntia Subulata, 6" Plant

This listing is for 1 Austrocylindropuntia Subulata cactus in a 6" growers pot. Also known as Eve's Needle Cactus, this is a species of tree cactus native to the Peruvian Andes. The leaves are awl-like and green-yellow and can grow up to 5 inches on a mature plant. It grows up to 13 feet in the native habitat but much smaller in cultivation. 

Recommendations for growing success:

Light: Direct sunlight, a windowsill makes a good home

Water: In late spring to summer months water thoroughly with tepid water when soil dries out, water more sparingly in the winter

Repotting: Repot every year in the spring when the plant is young, only increase pot size slightly
