Epiphyllum Curly Locks
One of the more unique looking cacti, Epiphyllum Guatemalense Monstrose is also known as Curly Locks. They put off beautiful twisting arms that hang straight down and will bloom at the ends under the right conditions. These cactus can be hard to find and make for a great gift or the perfect plant for a hanging pot in your collection!
A cutting is a piece of plant material used to start a new plant. Cuttings are sold with no pot, soil or roots and will come as just vegetative material.
The most successful way to root a cutting is to dip the cutting into root powder then plant into a small container or an appropriate size for the number of cuttings.
Recommendations for growing success:
Light: Bright indirect light, thrives in east-facing windows
Water: Increase water after spring resting period when buds start to form. Water as ordinary house plant while flowers appear and there is new growth
Repotting: Rootbound plants like to flower more often, no need to repot
