Lemongrass, or citronella grass as it is also called, is often used in gardens to deter mosquitoes. Lemongrass has many culinary uses and well as a history of use in teas or medicinal oils. While only the tender bulb portion of the Lemongrass is edible, the leafy portions also contain the fragrant lemon oil.
