Discover the Rose Varieties Waiting for You

Roses, with their timeless beauty and captivating fragrance, have long been revered as symbols of love, elegance, and passion. As gardeners, we are fortunate to have a vast array of rose varieties at our fingertips, each boasting its unique charm and character. Let's take a stroll through the enchanting garden of rose varieties available at The Plant Farm®.

Climbing Roses:

Climbing Roses can be trained to grow up walls, trellises, and other structures, and can produce a stunning display of flowers in the spring and summer.

Floribunda Roses:

The Floribunda Rose, a popular rose plant, produces clusters of smaller flowers and is known for its hardiness and disease resistance. Floribunda Roses are great for planting in groups or as hedges, and they come in a variety of colors.

Grandiflora Roses:

Grandiflora Roses are a popular class of hybrid roses that were first developed in the mid-20th century. These roses are a cross between Hybrid Tea Roses and Floribunda Roses, combining the best characteristics of both types. They produce large, showy blooms that are similar in shape to those of Hybrid Tea Roses. However, unlike Hybrid Tea Roses, Grandiflora Roses bloom in clusters, much like Floribunda Roses.

Ground Cover Roses:

Ground cover roses, also known as Carpet Roses, are perfect for covering large areas and look great in containers, borders, and as a ground cover.

Hybrid Tea Roses:

One of the most popular types of roses is the Hybrid Tea Rose, which is known for its large, showy blooms and long stems. Hybrid Tea Roses are often used for cut flowers and are available in a wide range of colors, from classic red to pastel pink and yellow.

Patio Roses:

Patio Roses, often referred to as mini roses, range in size from 6 inches to 36 inches. They do well in containers.

Shrub Roses:

Many people prefer to use Shrub Roses in their hedges or as a border as they flower regularly throughout the summer and often until the first frost. These rose plants grow fuller and bushier than other rose varieties, and they tend to be hardier and easier to care for.

There are many types of roses to choose from, so no matter your experience level, there's a perfect rose for you. We invite you to come and explore the different varieties and find the ones that inspire you. With their wide range of colors and shapes, roses can add beauty to any garden.
