A member of the Marantaceae, or "prayer plant" family, the Sanguinea will move its leaves according to its circadian rhythm! Native to the floors of Brazilian forests, these hard to find plants are excellent additions to any shady corner of your home.

Recommendations for growing success:

Light: Indirect sunlight or partial shade

Soil: Use well draining soil

Water: Allow top layer of soil to dry between watering

Humidity: Mist often, consider a pebble tray or humidifier
