Aeschynanthus Lipstick Thai Pink, 6" Plant
Lipstick Thai Pink is sought after for its striking pink blooms and its beaufiful trailing foliage. Hanging fixtures can make great homes for Lipstick Plants because of their long trailing vines. The botanical name for lipstick plant is Aeschynanthus, although lipstick plants are commonly confused for Columnea. The big difference because Columnea and Aeschynanthus is found in the bloom, Columneas have a more prominent bloom while Aeschynanthus are not as prominent. Both Columneas and Aeschynanthus have beautiful tubular blooms.
Recommendations for growing success:
Temperature: 60°F -80°F during the summer at least 55°F during winter.
Light: Bright indirect light.
Water: Allow the soil to dry out in between watering.
Humidity: Prefers a humid environment for blooming.
