Calatheas make great houseplants because the family features plants with a varity of foliage patterns and colors. Calatheas in the wild are found on tropical forest floors, so they can tolerate living in partial shade and make the perfect plant for filling in some of the shadier parts of your plant room!

Recommendations for growing success:

Light: Indirect sunlight or partial shade

Soil: Use well draining soil

Water: Allow top layer of soil to dry between watering

Humidity: Mist often, consider a pebble tray or humidifier
