Echinocactus Grusonii is native to Southwestern U.S. and Mexico. It is commonly known as a Golden Barrel Cactus. It has green ribs with yellow spines. When it blooms, it has beautiful yellow flowers. These are perfect for a cactus dish garden or standing in a cactus collection on a windowsill!
Recommendations for growing success:
Light: Direct sunlight, a windowsill makes a good home
Water: In late spring to summer months water thoroughly with tepid water when soil dries out, water more sparingly in the winter
Repotting: Repot every year in the spring when the plant is young, only increase pot size slightly
